What started as a high fluent idea turned into something dark and brooding.
Bardo has been described as " The state of existence intermediate between two lives on earth," or " Liberation through hearing during the Intermediate State."
Musically this project started as just the bass playing one note for a whole song. So there being 12 notes in western music that's how many jams we have. Then the drums were added, and then finally the guitars. The guitars really added flavor because they weren't tethered to keys, or modes. So I was able to go hog wild. All tempos were picked at random.
I hope you enjoy the musical journey.
